The screw blancher is designed for blanching vegetables, fruits, legumes, pasta, and seafood before canning and freezing. The blanching process is an alternative and sometimes the only cooking method for temperature-sensitive products. Short processing with steam or warm water lets you clean the product from microbes and mold, making it safe for the consumer.
