The cattle stunning box performs the function of animal stunning before the slaughter. After corralling the animal into the box, the back wall is closed and the stomach is pressed. The animal is fixed in a stationary state inside the box. Then it is stunning. After that, the carcass is fed to the overhead path for further processing.
The box consists of:
– Bearing construction;
– The back wall, that does not allow the animal to take a step back;
– Side lifting wall for falling out of a stunned animal;
– Pneumatic equipment for controlling the box work;
– Head fixation to facilitate the stunning process;
– It is made of stainless or galvanized steel.
