The STZ-6 device is designed to stun pigs with the electric current before slaughter by applying electrodes to the animal’s head. The device meets the requirements of EU Council Regulation No. 1099/2009 of September 24, 2009, on the protection of animals during their slaughter, and also complies with the European Union’s humane slaughter methods. The device automatically adjusts the current strength depending on the weight of each animal, according to the head size when applying the ticks.
